Doggie Dip 2024 at Big Blue Waterpark August 13, 2024
Join us for the 2024 Doggie Dip Celebration! Bring your dog down and have a fun time splashing around!
Like we did last year, we will offer online pre-registration and 2 sessions to make sure everyone (and their 4 legged best friends) can enjoy this event, pups that will be respectful for the second/ cautious adventurers group are welcome to stay for the second session for an additional $10 donation.
New for this year, we will have a few additional activities to help fundraise for our shelter animals! We will have ice cream for the humans and frozen pup cups for the dogs, water, gatorade and raffle prizes! Don't want to bring along cash? Cash, credit cards, Tap to Pay, Venmo and Paypal are all accepted at the concessions stand! Cash or pre-pay options are available for the admission donations!
The first session will be from 6pm to 7pm. This will be our party goers! If your dog loves to swim, and run and romp and splash, this session is for you!
The second session will be from 7 to 8pm. This will be our cautious adventurers group, if your dog is smaller, or older, has never been in the water, or gets overwhelmed by rambunctious dogs, this session is for you! If your pup is respectful of the cautious adventurers dogs and their people, and they aren't ready to be done with the fun, add an additional $10 donation below and stay for the second session!
Come on out and have a good time all while helping the animals at the Beatrice Humane Society!
All proceeds from this "fun"draiser are used for the daily operations of BHS and the direct care of the animals we serve. Your kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated!
The Details: All dogs must be leashed with a standard, non-retractable leash and a flat collar/harness and current on all appropriate vaccines- Rabies & Distemper/Parvo. The diving board, slide and kiddie pool areas will be off limits. Only wading is allowed, no human swimming will be allowed at this event. There will be a liability release consent form every adult will be required to sign to enter. Safety is our first priority for visitors and dogs at this event so please follow any on-site instructions from volunteers and pool staff.
