National Pet Memorial Day, observed on September 14th, 2024 is a day dedicated to remembering and honoring our cherished angel pets who have passed away. For many of us, pets are more than just animals; they are family. They bring joy, comfort, and unconditional love into our lives. When they leave us, the loss can be profound. This is a great way to pay tribute to our past fur family members and remember all that they have given us while helping adoptable animals make their way into homes to be loved as much as your pet was.
Pets are truly a part of the family and we invite you to join us in remembering those furry friends we’ve lost by donating in their memory. Our Angel Pet Memorial fund will be used toward the life-saving daily operations at the Beatrice Humane Society. As an example, just $50 can provide the intake medical care for a stray animal entering our shelter, and $150 can provide food and medical supplies for a litter of kittens or puppies.
